Community Access & Inclusion Initiative
Purpose
To strengthen community-level understanding and support systems for families navigating medically required gluten-free living beyond home and school environments.
2026 Pilot Scope
In 2026, the Foundation will begin developing structured community inclusion resources designed to improve safe participation in shared food environments and public spaces.
Planned components include:
• Community partner guidance for inclusive food practices
• Event planning safety checklists for medically required gluten-free participants
• Resource alignment support for food banks, youth programs, and community centers
• Outreach materials designed to reduce stigma and misinformation
Materials will be developed during the pilot year and refined through feedback from early community partners.
2026 Measurable Objectives
As part of the Foundation’s broader 2026 SMART initiative, this program will:
• Engage 5–10 community-based partners during pilot development
• Support distribution of pilot materials to at least 250 families collectively across programs
• Gather structured community partner feedback to inform 2027 expansion strategy
Impact Focus
This initiative expands safe participation in community life, reduces social isolation, and strengthens inclusive practices across public and nonprofit environments.
